October Snowman

Meet Frosty the Snowman! It snowed yesterday and the girls and I decided to make a snowman. This was the first snow of the season and it came in October!

In addition to making "Frosty", we took the opportunity to make snow angels. Even Dad got in the mix!

Although Halloween is over a week away, the girls have had a lot of opportunities to have some Halloween fun.

A few videos highlighting these spooky opportunities.

Eco Restoration

On Saturday morning, Ryan assisted the Tree Utah, non-profit organization, in planting trees along an designated eco-restoration project in South Jordan. This was part of a HP service project for our Stake.

It was interesting to see the trees that were first planted nearly 10 years ago, in comparison those planted on Saturday. This project is focused on providing a sanctuary for about 200 different species of song birds. Without such a setting, these birds would leave the area and leave Utah void of much of its original wetland heritage.

Adorable

The following picture was taken right after Aunt Linz and Uncle Keith's ("keefs") wedding in September. The girls were blessed enough to get their hair done by the same hair stylist that did Linz's hair. Aren't they adorable! Someday, we will look back at this photo and wonder how time went by so quickly, as they will be getting married. Oh, how we wished they stayed little.

Our Princesses!

Nearly everyday, the girls ask us, "When are we going to Disneyland again?" As we look back on our trip this past summer, we realized that we have a lot of great memories from this trip. Thank you G&G Hansen!

The favorite memory for the girls was the visit with the Disney Princesses (Arial, Belle and Jasmine) and the opportunity to get their faces painted. Following the visit with the Princesses, they wanted their faces painted, like some of the other little girls in the Park. The cost of three golf outings or a color/cut at a salon later, the girls had painted faces. As you can see, it was worth the cost to see their smiling faces. They glowed with happiness the rest of the day.

Craziness!

As you can see, the park has a way of bringing out a bit of craziness. The video below is no exception. We are still unsure where she learned the dance moves.
