A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas was spent with Jodi & Tony's family, Jared & Jami's family and Bompa Hobbs in Twin Falls. As you can see, it was a Christmas filled with excitement, good food and memories to cherish forever. We have captured a few of the events below.

The girls - Shelby, Libby, Tylee and Kylie. Nearly every waking moment was spent playing dress up.

Again, the girls. This time at meal time. What characters!

Abbey showing off her new learning table to Libby. She loves it! Kylie thinks something is quite funny.

Santa was very kind to Abbey & Kylie. Mr. and Mrs. Claus stayed up late putting together Kylie's new kitchen.

Abbey enjoying her new stacking bowls.

Our little chef playing with her new kitchen.

Tylee, Abbey and Kylie's cousin, announced that her family would be having a new baby in July Christmas morning with this shirt. Congratulations Jami and Jared!

The 4 amigos taking a bath. Bath time was fun!

The Traveler family singing a song during the Christmas Story on Christmas Eve.

Kylie showing off her princess shoes from Aunt Laura & Uncle George. She wore them everywhere.

Christmas pajamas. Although, Kylie's were a little big. Ok, very big. We had to open another present Christmas Eve from Grammy Hansen to use another pair of Christmas pajamas.

Viva Las Vegas

We all flew down to Las Vegas this past weekend to watch BYU play UCLA in the Las Vegas Bowl. As you know, BYU blocked a last second field goal attempt of UCLA to secure a 17-16 win - yeah!

We stayed at THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Before going to the game we got to see the Excalibur Medival Show, take in a tour of Shark's Reef (sorry no pictures, we forgot our camera in the room) and celebrate Kylie's birthday once again. She is going to think that December is her birthday, rather than just December 8th.

Bompa and Grammy pausing for a quick photo during the Medival Show.

Ryan and Abbey dancing.

Abbey trying to drink like the big kids. She wants so bad to be big!

On the way to the game, we found a street named after Stephanie! She was quite excited to be famous.

Another birthday party for Kylie Jo.

Cake - vacation style, twinkies and cupcakes.

Aunt Linz and Abbey.

Haircuts

Kylie and Stephanie both got their haircut recently. We went to Cookie Cutters, a kids haircut store. The place had cars for seats, movies to watch during the haircut and a slide. Needless to say, Kylie had a blast!

Twice As Nice

Yesterday, we celebrated Kylie Jo's 2nd birthday.  The day began with her favorite breakfast - eggs and toast, surrounded by balloons and streamers (all pink of course).

During the day she helped her Mom decorate her ladybug cake.  In fact, when she was asked what she wanted for breakfast, lunch and dinner, she replied 'ladybug cake'.

She also played with one of her presents from Mom & Dad, a Disney Princess Make-Up Kit. The best $10 gift ever for a little princess. Needless to say, she loves it!

She was also quite excited when she saw her new bike!  She can reach the pedals, but still has some growing to do to really enjoy it.  As Kylie says, 'almost ready' (a.k.a. almost big enough to ride it).  And if you look closer at the bike photo, she is not only 'riding' the bike, but also applying her pretend lipstick.  Hopefully, this isn't an indication of things to come.

That evening a few family members came to a small birthday party.
