Aubrey's Wedding

Aubrey (Ryan's cousin), recently got married at the Salt Lake Temple.  The girls love Aubrey's family - the Allenbach's.

Ryan giving some advice to the newlyweds. Ok, probably not advice, but perhaps a story!

The girls are playing "ring around the rosey" with Emma.

Emma and Kylie found a vent in the Joseph Smith Memorial building.  They loved to see their dresses become "puffy".

Daniel and Katie, Aubrey's siblings.  Katie is heading to BYU-Idaho in a few weeks.

Happy Anniversary - 5 years!

On August 20th, we celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary.  Grandma Hobbs came and watched the girls, while we got away for a night at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City.  Thank you to G & G Hansen for the gift certificate.

Our first 5 years of marriage has been filled with many wonderful memories.  We feel so blessed to have such a great marriage.

Stephanie, I love you more than anything!

Tu-Tu Party

Stephanie and Jami recently took a class on tu-tu making at Gardner's Village.  The girls love to spin and twirl.  Pink and more pink, for Kylie.  Purple and yellow for Abbey.  Kylie and Abbey, you are so cute!

Shoshone Falls

During a recent trip to Twin Falls, Idaho, we took the opportunity to see Shoshone Falls.  Usually, the falls are quite low in August, but due to the high snow fall this past winter, the water was still pouring over the falls.  Besides the Canyon, this is one of the natural attractions that puts Twin Falls on the map.

Attack of the Peacock!

One of Stephanie's friends, Min Li, invited Stephanie and the girls to the local bird habitat.  Min is originally from China and moved to Daybreak recently.  Stephanie and Min have become good friends.

While they were eating lunch, a peacock came to visit.  The peacock took a liking to Kylie's sandwich and ended up attacking her.  Lesson learned:  never try to pet a peacock with a sandwich in hand.  Although Kylie didn't find the situation funny, everyone else had a good laugh.

Brick Oven

Recently we found ourselves at the Brick Oven restaurant in Provo - a favorite of Stephanie's.  They are famous for their salad/soup/pasta bar and of course, their home-made root-beer.  Knowing that the girls love pasta, we thought they might enjoy it.  That they did!  Not only did they love the pasta, but they also acquired a love for root-beer, or as Kylie called it "bubbles".

While we were there, a man was coming around making objects out of balloons.  Kylie requested "Aurora" from Sleeping Beauty and Abbey a flower.  They played with these balloons for days afterwards.
