Bags, Bags & More Bags

Abbey has now discovered every drawer and cabinet in the kitchen.  A recent find was the garbage sacks under the sink.  As you can see, she had a great time pulling out each one (over 40 of them).

Like most little children, she is very inquisitive, always looking for something new to investigate.  We call her our 'little bear cub', as she is often found in the middle of something she shouldn't be and leaving a mess behind her.  It is a good thing that she is so cute or we would send her to the zoo!

Once there was a Snowman

During a recent visit from Bompa Hansen, he, Kylie and Abbey spent some time creating a snowman in our frontyard. As you might imagine, Kylie was so pleased with the snowman. In fact, she commented about it for days.
Unfortunately or fortunately (looking forward to warmer weather), the snowman melted by later in the week. Kylie asked, "Where did the snowman go?" "Can Bompa and I make a new one?"

She loves her Bompa Hansen! She will never forget the snowman.

Aristocraticmeosis

Yes, that is right ... Aristocraticmeosis.  This is the newest vocabulary word at the Hobbs home.  Origin - discovered by Dad when Kylie complained that her wrist hurt.  Trying to be funny, her Dad said, "you must have ... (long pause to come up with something creative) Aristocraticmeosis".
Needless to say, this crazy word sent Kylie into a laughing fit. Recently, Abbey has requested to have Dad say this new word when holding her wrist as well.  Dad is now asked to diagnose this new ailment on a regular basis.  In fact, as many times as Dad is willing, going back and forth from Kylie to Abbey, the girls giggle until tears form.

We are now working on medication for this new ailment.  It is scheduled to be released at the end of the second quarter of this year.  Stay tuned.
