Our Cougar blue or pink girls. They wanted to watch the game and eat their dessert so we moved their highchairs into the family room. This is the girls doing the fight song!

Can't Forget Kylie

She is such a good girl (most of the time). I don't ever want to "peg" our children as being only a certain way but I have to admit that Kylie and Abbey have very different personalities. Kylie is a little more mild, she loves to cuddle, and she is such a good talker. I love having a little person to talk with during the day.


A little mouse has been nibbling from our apples. Do you have one at your house too? Kylie is good at starting the apple but not finishing it, especially when I am not looking.




So, here's the mild part...we took Kylie on a pony ride and she screamed nearly the whole time.

Monkey Child

I see these pictures and I think...this is the I reason don't keep up on our blog! Abbey is so crazy! We often call her a "monkey" because she is constantly climbing and she is very mischievous. She has changed so much in the last year. We love our Abbey Lynn!

Joy School

I mentioned earlier that Kylie is doing Joy School this year. A few Moms from the neighborhood have joined me & we rotate hosting in our homes. It's been a lot fun! The best part is that I have two hours to spend with just Abbey. Kylie and the kids love to play dress up. Aren't they cute!

Temple Open House

Wanting the girls to learn to love the temple, we took a trip to Twin Falls to participate in the Temple Open House.  Stephanie's parents have been largely involved with the planning and implementation of the Open House events, as the Temple resides in the stake boundaries of where he serves as Stake President.

 

 

When Kylie was asked her favorite part of the temple, she stated "the white room" (celestial room).  You could tell that she felt a special feeling there.  She didn't want to leave.  In fact, none of us wanted to leave.  We found ourselves back the next morning going through the temple again.  

 

Aubrey's Wedding

Aubrey (Ryan's cousin), recently got married at the Salt Lake Temple.  The girls love Aubrey's family - the Allenbach's.

Happy Anniversary - 5 years!

On August 20th, we celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary.  Grandma Hobbs came and watched the girls, while we got away for a night at the Anniversary Inn in Salt Lake City.  Thank you to G & G Hansen for the gift certificate.

Our first 5 years of marriage has been filled with many wonderful memories.  We feel so blessed to have such a great marriage.  

Stephanie, I love you more than anything!  

Tu-Tu Party

Stephanie and Jami recently took a class on tu-tu making at Gardner's Village.  The girls love to spin and twirl.  Pink and more pink, for Kylie.  Purple and yellow for Abbey.  Kylie and Abbey, you are so cute!

 

 

Shoshone Falls

During a recent trip to Twin Falls, Idaho, we took the opportunity to see Shoshone Falls.  Usually, the falls are quite low in August, but due to the high snow fall this past winter, the water was still pouring over the falls.  Besides the Canyon, this is one of the natural attractions that puts Twin Falls on the map.
