Do you think Abbey is excited to get away? We were all excited!

Ryan and Kylie at the pool. Jumping in the pool was one of the first things we did when we arrived.
Taken at Big Springs, where we fed the fish on two separate occasions - the girls loved it!
Our future florist was admiring the yellow flowers (aka. dandelions).
Ryan and Abbey on our little hike. We stopped to wait for Steph and Kylie.
We brought the bubble machine. As you can see the girls loved making bubbles with Steph.
Steph and Kylie. I think Steph is the photographer as well. Nice work!
Oh no, the tower is going to fall. One of the many games of Jenga that was played.
At the end of the trip, we discovered that the Island Park Village Resort had a park. Needless to say, the girls loved it. This is what they thought Yellowstone Park was going to be like.
Ryan and Abbey at the mud pots. It was a cold, rainy day, so we limited our time outside.
Kylie and Abbey in the Lodge, outside Old Faithful. A quick snack of go-gurts.
One of the thousand buffalo we saw along the way through the park. This one was quite close. We could have given him a shave from the car.
This was the prize after our hike to the lower falls. The run-off is quite high, so it made the experience even more meaningful. It was eerie to look over the falls.
Is that snow? Yes, it snowed on the second to the last day there (ok, our last day). We decided to leave after we woke up to snow. We traveled to church and then made the 5-hour trek back home.
Overall, we had a great time. It was fun to be together as a family and spend quality time with the girls. Our next trip ... well, probably something more local, perhaps camping!
