Little Abbey Lynn was blessed today, Saturday, May 12th in our home. Blessings are normally conducted on Sunday during regular church meetings, but with Abbey's grandfather serving as Stake President in Idaho, Sunday's are difficult to schedule around.
A member of our Bishopric and the ward clerk were present to preside and document the event.
Following the blessing, we had lunch ... BBQ sandwiches, salads, chips, drinks, desserts, etc. Catching up on present and former memories were then had by all.
We will post pictures tomorrow, allowing us to sort through the many that were taken.
