All of the Hobbs' siblings/cousins got together in late June to send off Laura, George and their family as they made their way to a new residence in Florida.
The first stop was the Seven Peaks Waterpark. Kylie was brave enough to go down one of the tube slides with Mom. Way to go Kylie! As for Abbey, she is up for any event that includes water and food.
The next event was family photos at Murray Park. Let's just say that it was quite the adventure in getting all 12 (now 13) grandchildren to cooperate for a photo session. For some reason, Kylie and Abbey were cheerleading the revolt. Like most kids, they tend to be fearful of strange places and people. If you look closely, you will see large alligator tears flowing from Kylie's and Abbey's eyes. As for Libby (far right), she obviously wanted her mother. Camden decided to cuddle with 'bear'.
Once the photos were 'complete', we had snack time, played in the park and then headed to the Discovery Center at the Gateway. Kylie loves the Discovery Center. We bought a year-long membership while we were there. Now, Steph and the girls can go as often as they want. The membership includes up to 2 additional people besides our family to attend for free. Grandmas and Grandpas are invited anytime!
The next day included swimming at the infamous Lehi 'bucket' (honey bucket) pool, a BBQ and games, as well as a temple session with all of Ryan's siblings and spouses and grandpa. The kids even took some time to develop their creativity in drawing pictures. Guess what color Kylie choose to use? Yes, pink! It was a fun weekend. It was fun to have everyone in town.
